Barry C Y Chin

B.Sc., M.B.A., LL.B.(Hons), P.C.LL

Mr. Chin obtained his law degree (LL.B (Hons)) in United Kingdom and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (P.C.LL) in Hong Kong. Mr. Chin was admitted as a solicitor in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 1998 and was admitted to the roll of the Solicitors in England & Wales in 2003. He is now the Principal of Chin & Associates, Solicitors.

His practicing areas include corporate/commercial law with emphasis on information technology, telecommunication law and intellectual property law. Mr. Chin also has a solid grounding in civil litigation.

Apart from his professional qualification as a solicitor, Mr. Chin is also a Chartered Electrical & Mechanical Engineer in the United Kingdom and a Registered Professional Engineer both in Canada and in Hong Kong.

Mr. Chin obtained his law degree (LL.B. (Hons)) in the Cardiff University, UK and Postgraduate Certificate in Law (P.C.LL) from the University of Hong Kong. Mr. Chin was admitted as a solicitor in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He then obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting in Hong Kong.

Mr. Chin is one of the youngest Solicitors that qualified in the year of 2009. He has studied in Hong Kong, Canada and the United Kingdom, and he is knowledgeable in the legal systems and cultural backgrounds of these countries.

Ms. Tam was admitted as a solicitor in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. She has over 14 years experience, specializing in commercial law and civil litigation.

David C Buxbaum

B.A., M.A., J.D., PhD.

Mr. Buxbaum was admitted as Attorney at California and New York Federal Court (U.S.A.). He obtained his Arts degree (B.A.) from the New York University, Doctor of Jurisprudence from University of Michigan (J.D.), Fellow at the Harvard University (Law and East Asian Studies), and Master degree of Arts (M.A.) and Ph.D. from the University of Washington.

He is a well-regarded expert on private International and Chinese Law, international business disputes, intellectual property and commodities and securities matters. His work in Asia includes direct foreign investment, energy projects, litigation and arbitration, banking, intellectual property, labour law, commodities and securities, administrative applications (taxes and successful suits against government entities), and leasing.

Jianhua Tong

Mr. Tong graduated from Zhongshan University and has been practicing in the legal field for over ten years. He is now the chief lawyer of Guangdong Honours Law Partnership.

Famous home and abroad for acting as the main advocate in the criminal case of Zhangziqiang's kidnapping for ransom and smuggling weapons and ammunition, Mr. Tong is also acting as working counsel of the Guangzhou Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and legal counsel of General Commanding Office of the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau.

Mr. Lai obtained his Pharmacy Degree from University of Wales in 1984.  He is a registered Pharmacist in Hong Kong. He joined the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 1985. He then obtained his LL.B. degree in 1995. He became executive member of The General Committee of the Hong Kong Practising Pharmacists Association in 1996 and became Vice-President a year later

He is also active in social services.  He became the member of the Pharmaceutical Appeal Panel in 1997 and Pharmaceutical Disciplinary Committee in 2009.  As he has rich knowledge and experience in drugs manufacturing and pharmacy industry, he  is able to provide professional advice on related cases.

   
Allan W Leung

Mr. Leung obtained his Bachelor of ScienceDegree in the University of Hong Kong in 1987. He was admitted as a Certified Public Accountant in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and established Leung Wah & Co. Certified Public Accountants (Practising) in 90's. Mr. Leung is the member of HKICPA and the senior member of ACCA. 

He acts as Consultants specializing in Finance, Marketing and Management of various companies for many years and thus he is very experienced in area of Finance and Accounting.  He also takes up important positions in well-known organization, such as Honorary Treasurer of Civic Association and President of Distinguished Citizens Society International Hong Kong.

   
Ho Lap

Ms. Ho obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy in Kaohsiung University in Taiwan and is a registered pharmacist in Hong Kong. She also obtained her Bachelor of Laws and is currently completing Master of Laws in Beijing University.

She has professional knowledge about the pharmaceutical and medical industry, and is often asked to give an opinion in pharmaceutical disputes and medical negligence cases.

   
Lo Yuk Lam

B.Sc, Ph.D., Ph.D (Clinical Chemistry)

For the past three decades, Dr. Yuk-lam Lo has been at the forefront in the advancement of national industry, science, and technology. His visionary leadership and patriotic enthusiasm has earned him a place of respect throughout Hong Kong’s commercial, academic, and political community.

Dr. Lo was the National Sales & Marketing Director of Bio-Rad Laboratories Canada (Bio-Rad) and then later joined PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences as the Asian-Pacific Chairman and President.

Aside from his contributions to the biotechnology industry, Dr. Lo is actively involved in public welfare and community service. He was appointed by the HKSAR as a member of the Food and Health Bureau and advisor for the Secretary of Food and Health.

Dr. Lo’s contributions have earned him many awards and titles, notable ones include World’s Outstanding Chinese Award, China’s Top Ten Financial and Intelligent Persons as well as Honorary Fellow of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also referred to as the “Father of Hong Kong Biotechnology”.
